Product Description
In this episode, the Henning family visits the Mauna Kea volcano and reserve. They explore the Kilauea craters and watch the steam vents erupt into billowing clouds.
As their tour of the island continues, they discover a road covered in hard, black lava and walk the black sands of Punaluu Beach. This is followed by a trip to Ka Lae, the southernmost point of the United States.
The family also peruses local arts and crafts and takes the Hilton Wikoloa Village Tour, which includes boat rides and a swim in a dolphin pool. They round out their trip with snorkeling and a visit to Hawaii's first church.
